At Home With The Prime Minister: Ottawa Residences of the Prime Ministers Prior to 1952 was published in time for the Canada 150 celebrations.

Thebook presents the number of residences occupied in the Capital by twelve Prime Ministers, both as Members of Parliament and as Prime Ministers, before 24 Sussex became the official residence of Canada’s Prime Minister.

It offers a look at their personal and family lives, rather than their political careers, and provides a glimpse of the Ottawa that these men knew.

The author, Hagit Hadaya, has called Ottawa home since 1980.  She holds a High Honours BA in Architecture/Art History and a Master's degree in Canadian Heritage Conservation, both from Carleton University, Ottawa.

Other books by author:  In Search of Sacred Space: Synagogue Architecture in Ottawa (2013).

At Home With The Prime Minister: Ottawa Residences of the Prime Ministers Prior to 1952 is 135 pages, and includes more than 95 black-and-white historical photographs, endnotes, and bibliography. H
